My name is Gary Kroeger, I started this blog as a notebook for myself and other interested Catholics trying to follow Christ and his command to spread his gospel in this increasingly hostile political environment.
I am retired and living in Florida. Originally from Lima Ohio. Lived in Lima, Warren, Mansfield, and Columbus in Ohio. Also worked and lived in Tysons Corner Virginia, Roswell Ga, and Santa Clara Cal. I worked for United Telephone Company in Ohio and ROLM, IBM, and Siemens Corp in Virginia, Georgia, and California.
I am a member of the Saint Vincent DePaul Society and a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus. I am interested in genealogy, scripture, and church history.
Have traveled to Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, most European countries, Caribbean, Mexico, Canada, most US states including Alaska and Hawaii (11 times to Hawaii). I have traveled this spring with my wife of 50 years (as of May 30th, 2009) and a 15 year old grandson Ryan. We spent 5 days in Rome and the Vatican. We attended a general audience with Pope Benedict XVI on Wednesday June 5th. We then took a 10 day cruise in the Eastern Mediterranean. We walked in the foot steps of the Virgin Mary, St. John, and St Paul at Euphesus.

Gary, I received your web site info from Joe Zagursky; hope that you remember me.
We at WCC have a Men’s Bible Study Group every Tuesday, 8AM to 9AM to which I would like you to attend (this coming Tuesday if possible). During the summer we only have 5 or 6 members in attendance (still want you to come), in the season we have 15 to 20 and we would like you to come then – most benefit for us all. I think the guys would be interested in meeting you and hearing of your web and your programs. We are a very informal group with rotating member hosts leading the group in the club house card room. In the summer we meet in our homes; this Tuesday July 7th we will meet in my house (13100 Southampton).
The subject of this weeks meeting is 2 Peter 2 False Prophets and False Teachers. You could participate if you like – but primarily I want you to come and reintroduce your self to us all, taking all the time that you would like (we are flexible in covering subjects). What do you think?
